2026 / 2027 Ambassador Cohort
This founding cohort of Homie Front Ambassadors will be key players in laying the operational systems of Ambassador Hubs to come. We will be testing outreach strategies, refining engagement techniques, generating art-focused data reporting projects, producing distributable art-focused materials, and building authentic relationships. Homie Front Ambassadors should be practicing artists, able to commit 2-20 hours / month to cohort activities outside of service as relief educators, and hold a MN substitute teaching license .
Internal Leadership & Governance Structure
THF believes that appropriate systems of governance emerge from shared work conducted in a collaberative atmosphere. We are also aware that logistic necessity requires this project to have clarity of roles and responsibilities.
Considering these factors, THF proposes to begin with a sociocratic perspective and a Board Run LLC framework. The Artistic, Managing, and Communications Directors with comprise the Board, with Homie Front Ambassadors holding the role of Members.
These first few years of active service will reveal appropriate operational systems, clarify processes for building partnerships, and solidify THF’s capacity to generate meaningful revenue through collaberative endeavors.
Data Reporting Projects
Art-focused data reporting projects are the foundation of THF’s strategy for building collective wealth.
First among these endeavors is a Qualitative Data / Storytelling Podcast. THF will provide Ambassadors with a phone and Ambassador’s Log. These tools will support their ability to report activities, and track time spent.
At the end of each day as a substitute teacher, Ambassadors will record a voice memo detailing the days activities. This report will be sent to THF’s Communications Director, who’s responsibility it will be to edit reports into podcast episodes. Published in conjunction with an organizational Patreon, proceeds from THF’s Qualitative Data / Storytelling Podcast will build the Network’s reserve fund, and provide monthly stipends for team members.
Ambassador Logs - used to track service time, project activities, and relevant data - will be synthesized into an annual report. Illustrations made by artist-educators will be included and credited to individual contributors. Compensation for this work will be decided through group consensus.
These proposals are points of departure, designed to build collective wealth and establish pathways for expanded activities.
